ABOUT BOXERS
We are Rodger and Judy Clark and live in Mission BC in the beautiful Fraser Valley.
At Bakuna our goals our simple, to produce Boxers for the betterment of the breed who represent the Boxer Standard as set forth by the CKC. We strive to produce boxers that are bred for temperment, type, soundness and health. Although fairly new to Boxers were are not new to dogs, breeding, or the show ring. In the early 80's we began our quest with Kerry Blue Terriers, and produced several champions having only a few litters.
Our life took a different turn in 2000 when we aquired our first Boxer, Porsche. She was somewhat of a rescue mission. We have never looked back!!! My husband and I both enjoy this breed. These guys keep us laughing. Boxers possess a wonderful sense of humour. They can be stubborn, but aim to please,and are easy to get along with. I prefer to think of them as independant. They are very trainable and there are many Boxers out there who have earned their CD's, CDX's, Tracking and Agility Titles.
In 2003 we acquired
Sprucelane's Sheeze So Special (Elsa) from Sprucelane Kennels in Onoway
Alberta. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have acquired such a
quality girl to become our foundation bitch. Elsa's Canadian Championship
was received with ease and her health testing is now complete.
